Rosemary Wu , D.M.D., M.S.
Dr. Rosemary Wu is committed to providing outstanding and compassionate patient care with scientific and clinically proven treatment. As the relationship between periodontal health and systemic diseases strengthens, her goal is to address each individual’s needs and how their periodontal therapy enhances dental and overall health.
Dr. Wu completed her undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania, with distinction as a Dean’s List Scholar, and a concurrent concentration in Health Care Management and Administration from the Wharton School of Business. She was awarded a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, where her professional contributions have resulted in the authorship of numerous peer-reviewed publications and lectures at the American Academy of Periodontology and International Association of Dental Research. Dr. Wu received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her specialty training in Periodontology and Implantology at the University of CA, San Francisco where she also obtained her Certificate in Intravenous Sedation and Masters in Oral Biology.
Dr. Wu is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Wu provides periodontal expertise in nonsurgical modalities to treat gum disease and surgical therapies to combat periodontal infections, enhance esthetic desires and reconstruct missing dentition with dental implants.
She is involved with the American Academy of Periodontology, California Society of Periodontics, Sacramento District Dental Society, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Association of Women Dentists and the Christian Medical and Dental Society. Dr. Wu enjoys playing tennis, golf and skiing.
